
Ingredients–
- 500 gm pork, cut into small cubes
- 6 cloves of garlic
- 1” piece of ginger
- 2 medium onions
- 1 medium capsicum
- 1/2 red bell pepper
- 1/2 yellow bell pepper
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
- 6 green chillies, slit
- 1 tomato, deseeded and cut into wedges
- Salt to taste
Method –
- Wash the meat properly and pressure cook with 1/2 cup water for 3-4 whistles
- Drain the pork and set aside
- Crush the ginger and garlic to a coarse paste
- Cut the onion and bell peppers into wedges
- Put the pork in a cold kadhai
- Put the kadhai on heat.
- The heat will slowly release the fat from the pork and we need to stir every now and then so that the pork is seared from all side
- Cover with a lid and keep the flame low
- After 3-5 Minutes once the oil starts coming out, increase the heat, remove the lid and stir fry
- Add the onions, ginger garlic and bell peppers
- Add the spices, salt and green chillies
- Sauté for 8-10 min
- Add tomatoes
- Stir fry for another 5 minutes and it is done
