Carrot Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 cup grated carrot
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts

Method –

  1. Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon powder two to three times
  2. In a mixing bowl, mix the eggs thoroughly
  3. Add sugar and mix well
  4. Add oil and mix well
  5. Now pour in the sifted ingredients in 2 batches
  6. Mix lightly till combined
  7. Add in the grated carrot and walnuts
  8. Mix well
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 40 minutes
