
Ingredients–
- 500 gm chicken cut into small pieces
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 green chilli, chopped
- 2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 3 tbsp mustard oil
- Salt to taste
Method –
- Marinate the chicken with 1 tbsp mustard oil and turmeric powder for 20 minutes
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok
- Add the onions and cook till brown
- Add ginger garlic paste and cook till the raw smell goes away
- Add the chicken pieces and mix well
- Cook for about 10 minutes stirring occasionally
- Add green chilli and half cup of warm water
- Lower the heat, cover with lid and cook for 15 minutes
- After 15 minutes, add ground black pepper
- Cook for 5 minutes and switch off the flame
