
Ingredients–
- 250 gm chicken
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup thick buttermilk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Corn flakes
- Oil for deep frying
Method –
- Crush the cornflakes roughly and set aside
- Cut the chicken into thin strips
- Mix the flour with paprika powder, Italian seasoning, garlic powder and salt.
- Whisk eggs along with buttermilk, salt and pepper
- Dip the chicken pieces into the flour mixture, egg wash, cornflakes and set aside
- Coat all the chicken pieces in the same way
- Refrigerate for about 15 minutes
- Heat oil for deep frying
- Fry the chicken pieces till they are golden brown on all sides
